Please join the Payne Institute for Public Policy and Humanitarian Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines as we welcome Dr. Morgan Bazilian, Director, Payne Institute, presenting a seminar titled Geopolitics of Energy Transitions on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm (MT).

This will be the first event of three in the 2022 Humanitarian Engineering Symposium series, hosted by the Socially Responsible Scientists and Engineers, Mines Humanitarian Engineering Program and The Resilience Youth Network. Virtual link information will be provided after registration. 

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Morgan Bazilian, the Director of the Payne Institute and a Professor of public policy at the CSM, to deliver an engaging discussion about energy and geopolitics.

Previously, Dr. Bazilian was lead energy specialist at the World Bank, has over two decades of experience in the energy sector and is regarded as a leading expert in international affairs, policy and investment.
