Kiran Damodaran
Payne Institute Research Scientist, EEMDL, Colorado School of Mines

Kiran Damodaran is a Research Scientist at the Colorado School of Mines, under Hammerling group. He holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from Colorado State University, with a focus on embedded systems, machine learning, and fault-tolerant computing. Previously worked on enhancing Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity at the Methane Emission Technology Evaluating Center (METEC).

Kiran’s technical skills include C++, Python, TensorFlow, and network design. His projects range from vehicle classification using machine learning to designing collaborative robotic arms. Outside of work, he enjoys photography and exploring new places.
