Program Manager/Research Associate
Laura Singer will be leading a campus-wide effort on carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). She moved to Colorado in 2019 after spending the last 5 years in Washington, DC, where she worked as an economist at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). While at EIA, Laura modeled long-term global oil supply and prices for publications such as the Annual Energy Outlook, International Energy Outlook, and others. She was previously an economist and planner with the New Orleans and New York Districts of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she analyzed costs and benefits for flood risk management and environmental restoration projects in the Northeast and Southeast regions.
Laura holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Tulane University and a master’s degree in public affairs from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
