Shane Seibel
Executive Director, Southern Ute Growth Fund

Shane Seibel serves as the Executive Director of the Southern Ute Growth Fund, the business investment entity of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Headquartered on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation in Southwest Colorado, the Growth Fund manages a diverse portfolio of on- and off-reservation assets, including energy exploration and production, midstream operations, real estate, and private equity. Under Shane’s leadership, the organization oversees a combined market value exceeding $4 billion.

Since assuming the role, Shane has led the Growth Fund through a period of transformative change, guiding it to one of its strongest performances despite global economic disruptions and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. As Chairman of the Growth Fund Management Committee (GFMC), he provides strategic counsel to the Tribal Council on all enterprise-level investments.

With decades of experience within the Growth Fund, Shane has held multiple leadership roles and spearheaded key initiatives in housing development, real estate acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. He also founded and operated ONE Enterprises, LLC, completing projects ranging from well site restoration and residential development to stream rehabilitation.

A lifelong advocate for leadership and community development, Shane has coached high school athletics and remains deeply committed to mentoring youth. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Management from Fort Lewis College and has completed advanced coursework in organizational leadership, strategic innovation, and change at the University of Denver.

An enrolled member of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Shane resides in Ignacio, Colorado, with his wife Melanie. Together, they are proud parents of six and grandparents to 15. He is a lifelong learner, farmer/rancher, coach, Sundancer, and entrepreneur—dedicated to the prosperity of his Tribe and the stewardship of its future.
