Andrew L. Gulley

Andrew Gulley wrote his bachelor’s thesis on U.S. hardrock mining regulation at the University of Chicago and has a PhD in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He has worked across mining companies, mineral investment firms, and mining-focused NGOs. Dr. Gulley spent nearly a decade at the U.S. Geological Survey providing mineral intelligence to Congress, the White House, and federal agencies. His USGS research, funded by the national security community, focused on China, critical mineral supply chains, and funding mechanisms for U.S. mineral producers. He is now Partner and Director of Research at Strategic Mineral Consulting.
