Please join the Payne Institute for Public Policy at the Colorado School of Mines as we welcome Dr. Leena Srivastava, Deputy Director General for Science of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria, presenting at webinar titled Transformations Within Reach: Partnerships for the Future on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 9:00am – 10:00am (MT).
COVID-19 has provided us with an opportunity to review strategies under uncertainty, accelerate social and behavioral change, and bring about transformations very different in scope and scale to those we may have envisaged earlier. The IIASA-ISC partnership has helped reveal some of these transformations. How do we make them happen? What Partnerships can be formed to facilitate their realization?
Leena Srivastava is the Deputy Director General for Science of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria. Prior to this, she was the Vice Chancellor of the TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi – an inter-disciplinary higher education institution, focused on sustainable development – since 2012. She has over three decades of research experience in the areas of energy, environment and climate change policies at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), including nearly nine years as its Executive Director.
