Please join the Payne Institute for Public Policy at the Colorado School of Mines as we welcome Fellow Michael Cohen, Chief U.S. Economist and Head of Oil Analysis at bp, discussing the 70th bp Statistical Review of World Energy on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 10:00am – 11:00am (MT).

The Payne Institute for Public Policy at the Colorado School of Mines is a proud partner in supplying the global flaring data for the 70th edition of the bp Statistical Review of World Energy 2021 report.  A link to the report can be found here.

The bp’s Statistical Review of World Energy 2021 reveals that the COVID-19 pandemic had a dramatic impact on energy markets, with both primary energy and carbon emissions falling at their fastest rates since the Second World War. Nevertheless, renewable energy continued to grow, with solar power recording its largest ever increase.
