Please join Payne Institute Senior Research Associate Dr. Sara Hastings-Simon, David Keith, and Ed Whittingham, on the Energy vs. Climate series for a webinar titled Solar in Alberta: What Does it Look Like and How Do We Manage It? on Friday, March 5 at 10 a.m. MST.

Solar PV generation could significantly grow in Alberta – or be a victim of a dash for gas. How big can it be – or should it be? What are the tradeoffs between residential and utility scale projects? What barriers to further development exist, and what role should government play in removing them? What does solar’s growth in Alberta mean for the electricity grid, jobs, and Canada’s climate targets?
